Deputy FM discusses Yemeni crisis with UN envoy
TEHRAN (defapress) – United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for African-Arabian Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari on Saturday morning.
Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed arrived in Tehran today, to consult
with senior officials of the Islamic Republic on the crisis in Yemen.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the Yemen and the ways to resolve the issues.
Meantime, Ould Cheikh Ahmed is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
He has also traveled to some Arab countries to discuss the Yemeni crisis.
